SPECIAL MINISTERS OF THE EUCHARIST
They are commonly referred to as the ‘Lay Ministers’ who regularly help the presiding priest in the distribution of the holy communion to the faithful. After they were installed to this lay ministry during the celebration pf the Last Supper last March 21, 2011.
VINCENTIAN MARIAN CIRCLES
In attempt to spread devotion to St. Vincent de Paúl and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Santuario pastoral team has organized the first Vincentian Marian Circle in the depressed areas of the surrounding vicinity of the Shrine. The organization of this group was also meant to enliven Christian faith among the poor and allow it to take effect in their life condition. Community praying of the holy rosary and faith sharing every week, which happen sometimes during the mass in their areas, constitute the main avenues in achieving the goal of empowering lay people in their living out of their Christian life and vocation.
ASSOCIATION OF VINCENTIAN ELDERS
With the vision of promoting the well-being of the elderly of the Santuario Community, especially who are in marginalized situations, the Association of Vincentian Elderly was organized in March 2010. This Ministry takes seriously the work of integral evangelization for this particular sector through programs connected with health, recreation, livelihood, group counseling, and spirituality.
